being one with the weight of surrender
“When a stone is lying on the ground it is not doing anything in particular to surrender to the earth: this is the power of inertia. The stone is one with its weight in the condition of complete letting go. The stone does not have to let go; it is already one with the force of letting go, which is gravity. To be in the state of inertia is not to sit idly, but to be one with the weight of our existence. That weight itself is constantly letting go, pulled by the gravity of the inner earth, the absolute.
Even though certain horizontal unification has to take place for me to merge with the inner state, this merging is primarily a function of vertical surrender. It begins through the gateway of being, which is the place in existence through which we enter the dimension of absence.
It is through the doorway of being and the absolute state that the beyond can actually reach out to us in order to pull us into the inner realm — if we from our side become one with the intention of surrender.”
